Coast Soccer League's "Premier Division"

The Premier division of Coast Soccer League will play at San Bernardino Soccer Complex on October 7th.  Come and see the "Best of the Best."

Ultimate Players Association (UPA)--Frisbee Regionals   Sept 29/30, 2007

On a somewhat warm Saturday and hot Sunday, 35 teams from throughout California , Hawaii , Arizona , New Mexico and Colorado represented their states for The UPA Regionals.  During those two days, the teams competed each other in their divisions - Open, Women's, Coed, and Masters. 

From the time of the "pull" (the kickoff), the opposing teams defensely and offensively play up and down the fields. Watching the different hand releases of the players, it is amazing to see what a frisbee can really do.  It can float up in the air, be thrown from one player to another with quick speed, and the "huck" (long throw) of the frisbee claiming the goal. 

This game is played somewhat like football except you can't move after you catch the frisbee from another teammate; you must throw it to your teammate making sure that the opposing does not "intercept it."  Each "play" is precise as they move towards their goal line.  The games are played to points instead of time.

The winners of the divisions are below:

Master division            Oki and Away, Colorado

Open Men's division    Johnny Bravo, Boulder , Colorado

Women's Division       Safari, San Diego , California

Coed's Division           Barrio, Tucson , Arizona

All the winners of the regionals will go to Nationals to be held in Sarasota , Florida , on October 25-28, 2007 .

Coast Soccer League season starts in San Bernardino.

Coast Soccer League started their 2007 season on September 7, 2007.  For League season teams come to compete against each other as far away from Palm Springs, Pasadena, and Lancaster to the nearby areas of Victorville, Redlands, and Upland.

The Coast Soccer League has been recognized by Calsouth and US Soccer as the best gaming competitive leagues in the west extending from Kern County to San Diego County.  In their league, there have been several National Champions such as Arsenal FC, Real So Cal, and Eagles FC.
